Best part of it was probably disturbing cold air and hypnotizing moody sky…

Well, more about the trip:
the whole meaning of this little adventure was to share.
It may come as a surprise, but the folk in Cuzco, Peru (one of the most admired touristed spots in the world) has hard time survivng, children have to work, and most of them do not even need to dream, since they know- their lives will be dedicated to selling wool stuff to white and spoiled tourists…
So if you packed your backpack ready, once you are there- MIND TO SHARE. It’s easy, and good, and you can do it, so why not?
From Viktoryian and Pepo:
Huuuuuuge THANK YOU to those who joined this trip if not in person, with their hearts and minds.
Synne Hathway, Shannon Rose, Rosa Elelna Gutierrez, Angie Romero, Kris Yalta, Roxana Flores Bazan and Elizabeth Pachaslaines! Ladies, YOU ROCK!!!

Look what I found on Aftenposten this morning! Now tell me HOW FAIR IS THAT:
“Almost 50 Afghan teenage girls are now in the hospital after gas-attack against a girl-school in city Charikar in the north of the country.
The director of the school organized evacuation, when he felt a strange smell in the building of the school, while the pupils felt dizzy and nauseous.
“I´m very sure that the one who is behind this happening is against the education of women. But I encourage the patents not to be afraid of it,- says Noor Jahan laying on the hospital bed in Reuters.
She is one of 46 girls who is attanded at the local hospital.”
This kind of happning has become more common in Afghanistan lately.
Last year a group of school girls where attacked by the group of men who protested against women´s rights for education throwing the acid into those school girls faces.
Well, that´s not the only problem for women in Afghanistan. After husband dies, woman loses all her chances for more or less “normal” living. It´s even worse if woman doesn´t have a male relative. So most of widows are left to live in fear for ever after…
Take a look inside A Man´s World . Is there any chance for those women to experience normal life ever ??? Is it fair to live and to die for men? We can´t let it be this way! World must fight for those lost souls!!!

…the weather in Lima has changed unnoticed. The heat came down, so the air feels fresh and smells just like spring in Europe. I love spring. It is exciting and bothering, always makes me feel younger than I am at the moment. And even though it is autumn in Peru, the smell and the light here wakes up a very personal spring inside me! And spring is always about love…

Callao downtown is a grey and a little scary place. The streets are noisy, the people are weird. Here you might get robbed in the daylight, and it´s definitely not the place you want to visit at night. You can easily get lost among once great architectural constractions which are now destroyed and forgotten. The place stinks.
Therefor it was a special enjoyment for me to see the school kids demonstration as it represented the children´s interest in their own future! Hopfully one day Callao will become a better place, because those kids might do a better job than their parents…

Here is the horrible story I found on
Aftenposten
& Daily Mail

The fact that children once considered to be innocent and sin-free are now able to “behave” this way scares me to death. What is next ???
Other question that botheres me is the fact of responsibility. Who is the guilty of this happening? Society or the particular family? Who has to be punished? The children or their parents? Who must care ???
Today the media is full to overflowing with Breaking News: war, violence, crime, rape… And there is no longer old good news to start the day with. More and more often different people from different parts of the world seems to want this day to finish. Lets hope tomorrow will be a better day for each and all of us…
But today´s reality is : two kids (11 and 9 year old) are fighting for their lives after being tortured by two other children of their age.

One more sunny day in Peru.. While walking in the street I ask myself a question: what does one life worth?
The eyes in front of me: How did it happen that people simply stopped appreciating life?
When did life become equal money and entertainment?
When did our eyes disagree to see hunger and pain?
Our priorities have changed to material, as our need of having stuff overtook the need of feeling alive.
Right, that´s when we stopped caring about a life! When one doesn´t feel alive, one forgets how important a life of someone else can be. And we just keep on walking away… That´s how we kill every day. Without a knife in a hand… We kill while being indifferent to the pain and the fragile life of that someone else…
That´s when our own life doesn´t worth a shit! Why? Well, does food fulfill the empty place in your heart? I guess we were meant to be this way… Feeling full makes me feel satisfied, while feeling WORTHful makes makes me feel ALIVE! And this feeling is the one that you can not fake, either buy. You have to deserve it. Today I can not change the world, but here and now I want to make you stop for a minute and think about your life! Imagine that beautiful world where everyone is happy, because everyone has got enough food to keep on living! Every person has got a house, every child has got parents and every animal has got a family. No tears, no pain!
Wouldn´t life be better then? Wouldn´t you like to live in this world?
And all we need to do is to share our pleasures of living with someone who needs one chance to survive!

Join us! And make a difference!
