All these dogs are now living in the house of a great woman, who has been taking care of them and the other ones for many years. But she´s not getting any younger, so we started searching for new families for these pets!

Day by Day…

…we are fighting for the lives of our precious ones around here. Sometimes I wish it was easier. But just like in that song “nothing comes easy…” I guess that´s what makes those lives even more precious, as daily fight for them becomes more and more special and important. Hopefully one day one animal´s heartbeat will be as loud as human´s one, so it will be heard and listened to!!!
So far we are just on the way to that kinder world… Even though the way isn´t easy, it´s always great to have a support!
Today ASPPA came to Graciela´s house again. This time among the members of the organization were doctors, who spend several hours operating Graciela´s pets and the dogs from the local market. Well, the action speaks louder than words.

Unfortunately this boy has got some complications after operation, but he´ll be fine! 🙂

The dogs needed to rest after being operated. The cuty in the middle, named Dyjanko, has got a new family today!! Yeah! 🙂

These cute dogs might not be able to give to the world more of their kind, but they still have got lots of love to share! Among them can be your greatest friend...

Those were all news for today. I hope that more good news will come soon. Anyway we are working on the project! With people´s help those cute dogs and other street animals will get a better life, as they are supposed to! I just want to ask everyone once again:
take a look around! Clothes, cars, games, parties… Those things might be fun, but they can not be more important then life itself! So respect animals! Love them and care about them! Help them: Help Peruvian Animals

Todos animales tienen corazon, alma e inteligencia. Pero no muchas personas entienden la cosa. Es muy importante a comprender que cada animal tienen todos los derechos de vivir que tu y yo. Ellos no pueden a bregar.

How fair is that ???

Look what I found on Aftenposten this morning! Now tell me HOW FAIR IS THAT:
“Almost 50 Afghan teenage girls are now in the hospital after gas-attack against a girl-school in city Charikar in the north of the country.
The director of the school organized evacuation, when he felt a strange smell in the building of the school, while the pupils felt dizzy and nauseous.
“I´m very sure that the one who is behind this happening is against the education of women. But I encourage the patents not to be afraid of it,- says Noor Jahan laying on the hospital bed in Reuters.
She is one of 46 girls who is attanded at the local hospital.”
This kind of happning has become more common in Afghanistan lately.
Last year a group of school girls where attacked by the group of men who protested against women´s rights for education throwing the acid into those school girls faces.
Well, that´s not the only problem for women in Afghanistan. After husband dies, woman loses all her chances for more or less “normal” living. It´s even worse if woman doesn´t have a male relative. So most of widows are left to live in fear for ever after…
Take a look inside A Man´s World . Is there any chance for those women to experience normal life ever ??? Is it fair to live and to die for men? We can´t let it be this way! World must fight for those lost souls!!!

Parque del Agua en Lima!

If you ever manage to travel to Peru, I´m sure you´ll visit Parque del Agua! It´s one of the greatest attractions in Lima. Beautiful place, maybe it´s a little too overcrowded if you come here in the evening, but it is lovely! Don´t you believe me? Just check this out! 🙂

Graciela´s…

Let me introduce you Graciela- a woman in her 60, who dedicated a great part of her life to saving animals from cruel streets of Lima. This woman´s life isn´t easy at all. Just imagine living in one house with 40 dogs, each of them needs to be taken care of, recieve food and love. But Graciela is not about easy living or comfort, she is all about dedication and care! She wants to make a difference here in Lima where most of animals are living in horrible conditions and where most of people simply don´t care about it..

By the way Graciela is our neighbor. We are trying to help her with food for dogs and searching for new families for these pets. Still most of people in the street mistreat this woman. And I can´t stop wondering why people can´t understand that while helping each other we help ourselves! Why can´t we be more caring and helpful? This world would be a warmer and nicer place to live, wouldn´t it?!

As you see Graciela´s children (as she calls them) are clean and taken care of, but she is not able right now to feed all of them properly. Besides that she is not feeling healthy. So we put the dogs for adoption. It´s very important for us to find the families who love animals and will provide a good care for them! So if you know anyone who lives in Lima and is intrested in finding a new friends, please contact us !!!

Forgotten Children of Peru !!!

This is the video for everyone who cares about animals, who wants better life for pets and animals in general. We (my husband and me) made this video with the hope that it might attract more attantion to the life of street animals in Peru who have to strugle through all their lives, being left and abandoned, mistreated and forgotten without any love and care. Actually it´s dedicated to all animals in the world! People must remember that animals have got the same rights for living, eating, reproducing… and so on as we have. Like it or not WE MUST CARE!! They are our little brothers and sisters!
