Hello, folks!

We´ve been away for a while, but not for our laziness, for being very busy.
Work, family and our dedication to the little brothers keeps us busy, no matter if it´s a day off or a national celebration.
So here is what we´ve been doing…

A while ago we visited one very busy veterinary in Barranco, called “Elbas”. Many of most heartbreaking cases of street animals end up there. The reason for the trip was a donation from a friend, who heard about Layca.
We were surprised to find this dog so happy and healthy after what she had to go through. This once very ill rottweiler was brought back to life among other animals who suffered abuse or fought cancer. People´s love and dedication can do magic, believe it or not.

Olga Gomez was the one to let us know about the work that´s being done in the veterinary. She also donated s./110 to those who most needed it at the moment: two beautiful dogs Canela and Negrita.

YOUR HELP IS IMPORTANT!!!

These guys are doing very inspiring work, and the great thing is that they are not alone.
Here is another great place were lives are rescued on daily bases.
ACOSTA Veterinary is always open, as Doctor Blanca Acosta never sleeps, she´s always up to a new challenge, and she loves to win animal´s lives! That´s where our dear friend Ashi was cured, and there from found a new home.

And now two of many survivers of the mounth!
Lolita and Chappi were both found on the streets of Callao. Both had sarna, both struggeled hunger and abuse.

We had to sell DVD´s to raise money to pay Lolita´s treatment. And we are greatful to everyone who joined that little cause!!!
Chappi´s treatment yet need to be paid. And everyone who´s willing to join and help, can reach us calling 989896382- Pedro and Viktoryia.
We also would like to thank Dr. Rolando Garay and “Mundo Natura” Veterinary for all support and help in both cases!!!

Chappi is finally going to his new family tomorrow, where he´ll be loved and taken care of.
Lolita is still waiting for her second chance… Please help us to find a loving home for this little angel!

Sweet escape to Cuzco…

Best part of it was probably disturbing cold air and hypnotizing moody sky…

Well, more about the trip:
the whole meaning of this little adventure was to share.
It may come as a surprise, but the folk in Cuzco, Peru (one of the most admired touristed spots in the world) has hard time survivng, children have to work, and most of them do not even need to dream, since they know- their lives will be dedicated to selling wool stuff to white and spoiled tourists…
So if you packed your backpack ready, once you are there- MIND TO SHARE. It’s easy, and good, and you can do it, so why not?

Woman… about…

It seems to me that I stopped talking about something that really matters to me… I´m afraid to tell too much…
It seems to me that once I need someone to talk to, I can´t reach that right soul.
I can´t speak to the ones who I know will hear and understand- they mean too much to me, so I can´t let them to be hurt…
I can´t speak to random people- can´t let them know too much about myself… Afraid of their pity.

So I speak into the crowd… There is a hope yet, that that one right person will hear, will understand and will do all the right things… Just like in movies. Never happens in real life though.
So I just keep on screaming into the crowd´s generous ears till the pain desappears and frustraition cures into harmony. My happiness is fragile.

I´ll be myself one day, but today I´m a shadow of me.

Living in a Bubble…

Yeap! That´s about me!

I´ve been so busy lately trying to make my dreams come true, that I could barely see how fast the time is actually passing by… What is it about life:
it goes so slow when you suffer, but once you truely get excited it flies so fast?

Well, I´m still on the run, and I won´t let life happen without me really BEING THERE!

I´ve read about the death of the World´s oldest man Henry Allingham today, and it only made me think more about the life, not life in general, but the life itself happening right at this moment right here. What is about? Why do I worry about living? Will I even remember this day later.. when I´ll be old? Which days do we remember in the end of the path? What do we think about when we see the light in the end of the tunnel? Where it goes? Will we even ever get to know about it…

I wonder what was the World´s oldest man thinking about our nowadays life with all its crowds and noise. Our unsatisfaction and irritation, nervious and stressful living should have seem strange to a man who lived through First World War, doing his best to survive through hunger, pain and loss. It might have been strange for him to see us caring so much about what to wear and what to do tonight… Anyway this is something we´ll never know, we´ll learn about it on our own, since the life is a very personal dress, which can´t be borrowed, and once you put it on, you´ll never take it off… So live it, and do not waste your time trying to change it. Not working!

And so I´m living in a Bubble. Today it´s Red! 🙂

You can´t borrow my dress, but you can imaginary try it on, while watching the world through my pictures. So… how do you like?
Be honest, I don´t mind the harsh critics! Buy if you like it! Or just watch! I´m glad to share!

1 sol = 1 voice AGAINST animal DISEASES !!!

One sad true story…

A street puppy sick with sarna. By ViktoryiaN.

This little dog was found in one of Callao streets and taken home by one kind peruvian man. The puppy had a hard form of sarna / mange and was already very weak. The man felt very sorry for the puppy, and was ready to fight for its life. Unfortunatly it was too late.
The dog died the next day after receiving his first injection with the medicine against sarna.
That´s right where a short story of the puppy´s life ends. And none will ever know where his story actually began.

Sarna / mange is not the only disease the street animals have to fight. But everything is possible to be cured if we only give our strong human hands to the little fighters!

This dog was found by Graciela on the local market. It has received 2 injections against sarna already, and he´s still alive. The pet needs his medicines and treatment, while other street dogs need vaccines. And we all can help them simply donating one sol to fight sarna and other animal´s diseases!

The animals need vaccines and medicines. And simply donating one sol, YOU CAN SAVE ONE LIFE !!!
